Any individual, regardless of their residence, who is convicted of specific traffic violations in Wisconsin is mandated to successfully complete a Right-of-Way course, often referred to as a Failure to Yield course.
The DMV will notify you if you are required to take the course. You will be notified by email if you are an eNotify subscriber or by mail if you are not.
It is imperative to complete the course within six months of the date of the letter or email. Failure to do so will result in the suspension of your driving privileges. If you don’t complete it before the 6 months are up, your driving privilege will be suspended. If your license is already suspended, completion of the course is a prerequisite of reinstatement.
Individuals are allowed two attempts to pass the required final exam, and a minimum score of 80% is necessary for successful completion.
If you are unable to pass the final exam within the two permitted attempts, you have the option to retake the course.
After successfully completing a Right-of-Way/Failure to Yield course, All Star will electronically notify the DMV and the student. It is advisable to check your driving status and eligibility to reinstate your driver license if it has been suspended.
