Online Driver Education for Teens Important Information

Our uniquely designed course will include engaging & interactive pictures, graphs, videos, and quizzes to ensure your student comprehends the rules of the road.  When all modules are completed the final exam can be attempted an unlimited number of times.

1. Teens taking Driver Education are less likely to be involved in crashes or to receive a traffic violation during their first 2 years of driving.

2. Driver Education appears to make a difference in teen traffic outcomes when risk is highest.

3. Young drivers who have not completed a Driver Education program are more likely to be involved in crashes and teenage drivers are more at risk than any other age group.

4. Cost savings! Many automobile insurance providers extend discounts to individuals who have completed a Driver Education course.

While Driver Education is not mandatory in Arizona, it is undoubtedly advantageous because acquiring the necessary knowledge is essential for learning how to drive safely. The All Star Teen Online Driver Education course will effectively prepare you for your Graduated Instruction Permit test and is approved by the Arizona MVD! Teens who do not complete an approved Driver Education program must provide documentation that the student has completed 30 hours of supervised driving practice, 10 hours at night.

Teens over the age of 16 (and under 18) who have held a learner permit for at least 6 months can apply for an Arizona Graduated License (Class G). Passing the Road Test exam with the Motor Vehicle Division is the final step in obtaining a driver license.

Graduated Instruction Permit – At the age of 15 years and 6 months old students can apply for a Graduated Instruction Permit. To apply for an Instruction Permit, teens can take the written driver test online under appropriate supervision, or at an Arizona Motor Division.

Education course will effectively prepare you for your Graduated Instruction Permit test at the Motor
Vehicle Division.

All Star offers a comprehensive 30-hour online program that can be conveniently completed from home
or any location with internet access. Students are permitted to engage in 2 hours of online learning each
day, and student progress is saved anytime a break is taken. Begin your Driver Education journey with

Students become eligible to complete a Driver Education course and apply for a Graduated Instruction
Permit at the age of 15 years and 6 months old.

Teens must first pass a Permit Test. It is recommended that teens study the Arizona Driver Manual and
take the online practice tests before attempting the Permit Test @ Home.

• Bring a completed application and all original supporting documents.

The Instruction Permit is valid for one year after the date it is issued.
