Start Your Engines & Save Lives:

Drive for a Cure this February with All Star Driver Education

Every Michigan-based student who signs up in February helps us fight blood cancer with the non-profit fundraising organization, Blood Cancer United (formerly known as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society).

New year, new goals, and (hopefully) a new drivers license for many teens in Michigan. This February, All Star Driver Education is proud to turn the major life milestone of learning to drive into an opportunity to save lives.

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Blood Cancer United’s Student Visionaries of the Year campaign for the 2026 Detroit season. For every student who registers for a driver education course in the state of Michigan during the month of February, All Star Driver Education will donate $5 directly to Blood Cancer United.

Why We Are “Signing Up to Save Lives”

Blood cancer is a devastating disease that affects families across our communities. In fact, every 3 minutes, someone in the U.S. is diagnosed with a blood cancer, and leukemia remains the #1 most diagnosed form of childhood cancer.

By signing up for driver’s ed in February, you aren’t just learning the rules of the road—you are fueling groundbreaking research and providing critical support for patients and their families.

We are especially inspired by this year’s local Honored Hero, Audrey Rayl. Diagnosed with leukemia at just 22 months old, Audrey endured over two years of grueling treatment. Today, she is a happy 5-year-old who has been cancer-free since April 2023! Your registration with All Star helps support brave children like Audrey and ensures that Blood Cancer United can continue to fund the research that saved her life.
